Please?
no
Scwew you!!!! 😡😡😡😡
I kind of want to see it too.
From what I saw it was borderline gibberish prefaced with "I'm the most controversial user!" and some bad pun I can't remember.
I was actually kinda curious about that blog, but I'm too late now, I guess.
I recall seeing it recreated on Crappy Games Wiki.
Why did you remove my message to you on CGW because it was "nonsense"? I was literally just asking a question.
If you think it's ok to go around telling people where they should post their blogs I assume it's no use to try and teach you such basic stuff like miscellaneous blogs being allowed to be posted wherever people want to in wikis made for entertainment.
I just thought it was weird to keep it when it had been intentionally moved to CGW, but whatever I guess.
Why did you delete my comment on the companies RFC regarding celebrities?
Off-topic subject that didn't raise any significant point with discussion potential and only made things more confusing. Sorry.
Trashy Celebrities Wiki is not a "joke", and about the Adolf Hitler page, yes that page is bad, but that page is up for deletion like several other pages.
If it isn't a joke, are you by any chance supporting that wiki?
I'm surprised that wiki hasn't been taken down yet.
Why?
Talking bad about people if forbidden in Miraheze, there is a reason of why the Outcast Network and the Fandoms & Hatedom Network were closed.
It's criticism, not "talking bad" about people. The Outcast Network and the Fandoms & Hatedoms Wiki Database were closed because their pages were filled with unsourced claims and therefore were spreading unsubstantiated hate or rumours.
Sorry to say this but a number of pages on that wiki are unsourced as well :/
As far as I know, every page that is unsourced is up for deletion.
if a lot of pages are unsourced then the higher ups assume it's clear the wiki only exists to do hate speech and the wiki goes poof
No it doesn't just exist for hate speech. It's for criticism. Just because some people have been adding unsourced pages doesn't mean that's its sole purpose. No page on the wiki was created by an admin, therefore that's not the case.
does it have mostly unsourced pages tho? cuz at the end i think wiki deletions work like i said. if infractions are way too deep then it's deemed irreparable and deleted
The wiki only has seven pages (excluding redirects, blog posts, the main page, etc.) and I think only three of them are filled with unsourced claims/completely unsourced and they are all up for deletion.
That is still 3/7 (AKA: 42.8%) of pages marked for deletion.
Still, would it not be common sense to just let the wiki grow until it becomes a real problem? I don't mean we should let unsourced pages stay - they should be put up for deletion, but still, it's only got 7 pages. Plus, the wiki doesn't have any active admins, so no wonder why there are so many unsourced pages.
deletion arguments aside, a wiki with only 7 pages which you admit has been like that for 2+ years is unlikely to "grow", especially with no active and no interested admins.
It is starting to grow now though.
You realize that that wiki has been around for well over 18 months by now right?
Yes, they had been here for over ayear and a half and not improvement has been made
I know that it's been around for a while now, but it didn't really start to grow until the second page was created, and the wiki grew a bit more after I started contributing to it.
Edit: Also correction, it's been around for 2 years and 8 months.
Being two years old made it worse
It had barely any contributions back in the day. Its second page wasn't created until like June of 2020.
This doesn't help either, and only proves that wiki is in the limbo of anonymity and was ellegible for deletion long ago.
How was it "eligible for deletion long ago"?
3 pages can easily be fixed lol imo it doesn't make for a wiki deletion reason, unless they have existed in an awfully long term
Practically speaking the wiki is dead and probably won't come back. I'm not sure what the point of this is.
The wiki as a whole looks absolutely horrendous, and who the fuck would consider Hitler a celebrity? That's like considering Stalin or even Mao a celebrity.
Well it's not like the page is up for deletion or anything...
Up for deletion or not, the wiki is dead to the point that nomination for deletion doesn't do squat nor is there any thing resembling policy that would even justify a deletion aside from the consensus of whatever community is present, which is effectively nonexistent anyway. Only way deletions would be clerked is if global intervention was made or if an admin came back/was elected.
I have plans related to that.
I feel like this wiki should be taken down. We don't want an TF&HW II.
How is it TFAHW II?
Hi, I have come across this account, named Angler01 (as I am aware you have recently requested a global rename dating back to February 20th, 2022), I have some suspicions that this new account isn't yours. Could you confirm if that account is yours or not? Because if it's not yours, then I'll report back the information to Reception123 as soon as possible. --DarkMatterMan4500 (talk) 18:45, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
I have no relation to this account whatsoever.
Well, I knew it all along that it couldn't have been you who made that account, but I think I MAY know who it might be, but I'll have Doug investigate the impostor.
What are the requirements for being an admin on the Qualitipedia database (including the reception wikis)?
I don't think there's a formal guide of established requirements here but I can share a quick imaginary list below:
- Being active (obviously): Make at least one contribution per day in the needed areas and being available to contact almost daily.
- Following the rules and reminding lawbreakers to do so: De-escalate situations that show incivility or misbehavior of any sort and let users know where they messed up and how they can improve.
- Being trustful: Have at least one admin that sees potential in your activity, or ask them directly to check your activity, I guess?
Other is to be a nice user that helps others in need.
Depends. Zangler has a good list. In times past it was completely arbitrary. Now it's a bit more cautious; we look for activity, trustworthiness.
Personally? I look for competence, someone willing to communicate and be involved, who can work with others and has a sense of discretion. Ie, who tries to get 'lawbreakers' to calm down and be reasonable rather than go straight to blocking or inflammatory statements, or who helps out and thinks about the wiki's setup (administrative stuff). That will get you up quickly in my book.
Thank you. Maybe one day, I could be an admin here.
If you work hard enough, are honest and help others, you can become it.
ok
May I be auto-patrolled? I can't edit the business RfC because of the moderation extension.
Ok.
Sorry, but could you also deny my edit change as well? It still won't let me edit the latest revision.
Okay, I don't mean to harass you about this and I'm just gonna try this once, but could I please be unblocked from TSEW? I know that it's only a partial block, but TBH one month I think is a bit too much, and plus, the block results in me not being able to comment (and possibly also not being able to edit blog posts, I'm not sure, but it's possible), therefore making it even more of an issue. I promise I won't argue about things with Reviweing97Shows that should be discussed with a staff member, and I'll try to avoid questioning whether or not certain video series are "web series" unless I have a good reason to do so.
Ok.
I know I'm not an admin, but you should sign your non-flow messages with four tildes (~~~~).
What is a non-flow message
Non-Meta user!! Laugh at him!!
A message that you put on something that is not a flow discussion, unlike this talk page, which is a flow discussion. Things like RFCs, non-flow talk pages, etc. contain non-flow messages.
Thank you for clarifying! I'll do that from now on o(〃^▽^〃)o
