I'm just spreading word that I'm rebooting the Qualitipedia Project myself. Is that okay with any of you?

I mean, the more the word spreads the sooner it's going to be shut right back down like it was in the first place.
I really hope it doesn't get shut down.
The Reception Wikis were shut down from FANDOM because the site had created a policy against negative wikis at the time, and that rule is probably still going to this day, so I don't mean to get you down, but there's a high likelihood of the wikis getting removed from there again.
Rebooting the wikis may be a bad idea considering that the wikis themselves were closed themselves around 4 years ago so opening them might be a pretty risky move to begin with (at least for the negative wikis). As for the positive wikis, those may just survive.
The CF reboot has proved the predictions of the Reception Wikis becoming empty shells if they survived true. Part of their popularity was their leeching off their host which it no longer has and can't do to FANDOM. Their "loyalists" have no competence to inherit the network as they're against the founder's wishes (given how they were the ones who accused him of you know what, it's not surprising).
no. don't get the story twisted. the main spreaders of the accusations were sporeshroom and duchessthesponge, not some random "loyalists" trying to revive the wikis.
I rebooted the Awesome Games Wiki as a start.
Stop it. The wikis are already being revived on qualitipedia.cf.
You don't need to fight every last battle: GL will inevitably lose by proxy and discover the problem himself. If it works hey, more reliable than qpcf and you should be glad to see something with a reasonable uptime. You probably shouldn't have all your eggs in a mystery box anyway.
Still, I think qualitipedia.cf should be given a chance.
No offense, but I don't think the CF version of the Reception Wikis is turning out to be very successful, since they always get error messages and the pages are unable to be edited there.
I agree. In fact, the CF version of the Reception Wikis turned out to be short-lived.
It's broken and the founder is AWOL. Fair to say the CF version is dead in the water until further notice.
Well fine, but I think the Fandom versions are (a guaranteed to get closed and (b aren't the best way to continue the wikis. Also CJWorldGame32125 is working on another service.
I agree regarding the fandom wikis. Also dead on arrival.
I would say the same on CJ's "another service". Until he figures out how hosting works it's nothing more than a hobby project on his personal computer and I really don't see him pulling out a hosting service.
The only good thing to have came of it is the emergence of its "founder" Fred, who's the Tommy Wiseau of the Reception Wikis.
Why Tommy Wiseau?
Both of them are enigmatic/quirky people who seemingly rose out of nowhere to work on things (Fred creating the Reception Wikis reboot and Tommy acting in "The Room") only to revert back to the shadows after their deed is done.
Considering it's dead and never had a proper release, I'd say Tommy actually delivered while Fred made a promise, bungled it and quietly disappeared. Maybe he'll be back but that's certainly what it turned out to be so far.
It'll get a chance when it figures out how databases work and fixes itself. Until then people will do what they wish to see results, regardless of the long-term consequences.
