Regarding Blubabluba9990

Summary by Blubabluba9990

Let's not start this up again

ShawnTehLogoBoi (talkcontribs)

It turns out Blubabluba9990 has been innocent, and all of the things he has been accused of doing either happened month ago and have since been resolved or are not against the rules of Qualitipedia. Blubabluba9990 also asked me if he wanted to become an admin on the character wikis, and I said yes. So he's gonna be joining the new group of admins that will be managing the character wikis.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

I think the best action would be unblocking him on the character wikis and nowhere else until we can truely see if he is trustworthy. He may be an admin there but will have his rights revoked if he screws up once.

ShawnTehLogoBoi (talkcontribs)

Sure. I will tell him that on the stewards noticeboard.

ShawnTehLogoBoi (talkcontribs)

Alright. Just told him that on the stewards noticeboard. I also warned him that if he screws up even once, I will revoke his admin rights.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Okay. Thank you.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Actually, just never unblock him on the Qualitipedia wikis. Keeping him blocked is the best idea and was a good action to prevent spam, but he may be allowed to use the character wikis still since they are unaffiliated.

DarkMatterMan4500 (talkcontribs)

I went ahead and unblocked him, because of one's incompetent decisions, and aside from that, I've seen a lot of insults in block summaries. I apologize if this was unexpected.

Raidarr (talkcontribs)

What inspires this change of tone?

DarkMatterMan4500 (talkcontribs)

@Raidarr I went on ahead and unblocked him, because it seems that it was done in hopes of settling a grudge.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

I heavily disagree with unblocking him. He would always spam the talk pages for what he wants to do when we were in the process of doing so already, and he just would not be quiet even when we told him millions of times. He is just very repetitive and honestly doesn't have a place here. I'm sorry, but I can't accept having him here again.

Marxo Grouch (talkcontribs)

I feel like the unblocking won't bode well considering quite a few people, including other admins, despise him. I presume the unblock means he will be given one more chance, but let's just see where this goes. Hopefully he has learned not to spam during his most recent block.

ShawnTehLogoBoi (talkcontribs)

I hope he has learned not to spam during his latest block, so I'll see where this goes.

Raidarr (talkcontribs)

One more chance conditionally, based on the simple probation terms that he does not attempt to cause disruption with users, has patience and strives to actually follow due process instead of leaving 10 paragraphs on three different pages over a small matter, and otherwise has a proactive approach that can be measured in his contributions.

DarkMatterMan4500 (talkcontribs)

Yes, given that his silly feud with DuchessTheSponge is already over. I've always thought their feud was distracting.

ShawnTehLogoBoi (talkcontribs)

I will make sure he follows those probation terms, so I'll be keeping an eye on him.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Hmmmmm.... I'm not sure if he's changed honestly. When we have disagreed with him on his discussions, he makes a point against our oppose, we say something else to strengthen out our oppose, and he just says the same thing again. Also, now we have so many useless RFCs here now that are likely always going to be voted out. But that's only how I feel. I can see that he does want to help, but I think it's just going to be more bothersome as time goes on.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Also, he has been putting up way to many RFCs in such a short time, which is kinda impatient and he should have waited for one to close before creating the next one.

Blubabluba9990 (talkcontribs)

I did that a lot on Encyclopedia SpongeBobia, there isn't any reason that multiple RFCs can't be going on at once.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Still, it kinda touches spammy, and remember that you were blocked on Spongebobiafor many offenses.

Blubabluba9990 (talkcontribs)

Yeah. But even then I was also trying to help, but let's not get into that. Plus, I have made all the proposals for the ideas I had today.

Blubabluba9990 (talkcontribs)

I do not want to have to repeat myself, but it seems like the things that I say are getting ignored.

Yonydesk (talkcontribs)

from what i've seen, they aren't getting ignored - they got the attention they deserved imo. people just don't agree with you because the things you proposed are either unneccesary or unrealistic to do, and you repeat the same points over and over again when arguing (yeah we already know you made the name change proposal just so kid-friendly channels can mention them and we're agaisnt that, you don't have to repeat it for the 823893243287th time)

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Exactly. He is already proving himself to be repetitive and just wants attention just like before.

Raidarr (talkcontribs)

For the most part his proposals ask genuine questions, although from this point I think they are better suited to start in blog form to get early discussion rather than posted to RfC outright. He does have a tendency to argue and he does raise an awful lot at once, but really, that sounds like just me without limits :p I'd suggest he avoid digging in too deep, especially with the rename that clearly lacks support from the audience.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Even so, many of these questions are things that we do not need at all and are kind of obvious that they won't be approved. Given putting so much at once seems to be like we wants so much attention to himself. Plus, he gets very defensive once we disagree with any of his points or RFCs and repeats the same stuff over and over, which is kind of not accepting the criticisms we are giving him. Overall, I think unblocking him was a bad idea and it clearly shows.

Raidarr (talkcontribs)

An RfC by nature focuses on the idea more than presenting the proposer, as it is in blog form. We may have to agree to disagree on the potential merits of his suggestions, although I agree that the chances are nill and he has work to do in figuring out ideas that are actually actionable, that is, will actually fly with the majority of QP. Ultimately the system is made so he can present a valiant defense, but the voting majority makes the statement and the validity of points stand for themselves. For me at least it is a small portion of time to humor his content, so I am personally not bothered by it. At the very least, making suggestions and having them fail is a small base to use so we can be more solid in our own reasons why or why not, or find a suggestion in the mix that is truly worth considering. Ie, he has put the bug in my mind as to how to consider the 'cancelled' wikis in the future, and while not immediately it is my intention to suggest merging them to 'cancelled media' or the like for that consistent purpose and their lack of traffic.

TigerBlazer (talkcontribs)

Sorry if I sounded very hateful, but I have very low tolerance when it comes to unblocking people who were blocked indefinitely for good reason. After all, look what happened after we unblocked SporeShroom. I'm not a big fan of undoing proper actions like that, so please forgive me for my aggression.

Raidarr (talkcontribs)

I respect your opinion, and while it comes off strong I think your tone is acceptable as well. If worse behavior is forthcoming, I may well be on your side. But idk, maybe I'm the forgiving type. It doesn't help that the blocks largely happened before I came, so I approach him with more of a clean slate attitude.

ShawnTehLogoBoi (talkcontribs)

Same here. If Bluba's behavior doesn't change for the better, I'll be on TigerBlazer's side.

Marxo Grouch (talkcontribs)

Same here. If he continues to pester us by spamming blog posts and topics (and RfCs), then I will be on the side that wants him out.
