HOWEVER, how is GamerGate political? Sure, SJWs may have demonized it, however it is not. GamerGate was supposed to expose the gaming journalism industry after that awful mess of Depression Quest. And it is pretty clear that SJWs hate gamers in general. I think we have to make a compromise.)
- 21:00, 29 October 2021 Money12123 talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/The network staffing of Qualitipedia (Another thing that needs to be done is that while you can just be a bureaucrat/administrator/rollbacker/content moderator/etc. on one category of wikis and not the entire network, it should be a category of wikis, not one wiki. For example, if you're an admin on Crappy Games Wiki, you should be an admin on Awesome Games Wiki too. The same applies if you get blocked (unless it's a partial block when you're only blocked from editing certain pages), you should be blocked on both wikis of that to...)
- 20:50, 29 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (It's also worth noting by your own admission the full intended rebrand was never completed; the only real branding changes that have occurred recently are more messes regarding logos and the overall Qualitipedia name that has been in place for some time.)
- 20:48, 29 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/The network staffing of Qualitipedia (Strictly speaking we're autonomous, not independent (from Miraheze, the only entity we're technically obliged to). This proposal would strengthen that position as well as open new paths to improving the management situation going forward.)
- 20:47, 29 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (This is intended to be done sequentially and in due time; not doing it right away is precisely what I encourage in the opening text, as doing so will result in general failure of the ideas.)
- 19:05, 29 October 2021 Blubabluba9990 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (I like it. However, I do not think it is necessary to do this right away, since we literally just had a rebrand. We will see how things work out with Qualitipedia and if this rebrand doesn't work, we can make a new one.)
- 18:59, 29 October 2021 Blubabluba9990 talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/The network staffing of Qualitipedia (Also, if this proposal passes, it could be one step closer to independence. We kind of are already independent because we are operating as a single network.)
- 21:27, 28 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (The difference you suggest is actually outlined in the latest Request for Comment regarding network management. A list of reception wikis in general can be made (though at that point we might as well just link this and/or have them as a partner) but official partnerships should not be just any wiki. They should be wikis we want to associate with as a network and not all wikis are obliged to shoutouts. Ie, I don't consider the reverse wikis particularly worthy of it as...)
- 21:04, 28 October 2021 Money12123 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (Something that I think should be done is that there should be a difference between "part of Qualitipedia" and "partnered". In addition, even if wikis are not part of Qualitipedia nor partnered in any way, we should still respect their existence and link to them when necessary. For example, the reverse wikis should still be partnered, they just shouldn't be part of this network, they should be part of their own network, perhaps called "Reverse Qualitipedia". Another idea is that since that man...)
- 15:56, 28 October 2021 GreenGreen talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (Well, I normally just don't care about political agendas or politics in generals since they're just too discriminatory for my liking and just way too hard to discuss in an unbiased manner, that's why I think having less political stuff on this Wikis is for the better since it makes us far more center focused and doesn't make us go too overboard on either the right or the left, since both sides are rather toxic and I wouldn't necessarily be supporting one or the other, so I'm mainly more cent...)
- 14:00, 28 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (I don't think the existence of our own YouTube would add extra trouble with other people as long as we're responsible and wouldn't use the channel to attack them. Being open about our problems with the channel could even be a way to get some goodwill back.)
- 13:43, 28 October 2021 King Dice talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Yeah, I've seen people like that on Reddit.)
- 08:57, 28 October 2021 SuperStreetKombat talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Lots of people on the internet, including YouTubers, are already extremely critical of Qualitipedia with all the rant videos they made of it, so us having a YouTube channel probably wouldn't be a good idea since we could easily cause conflicts with other users there who ranted about us.)
- 08:57, 28 October 2021 SuperStreetKombat talk contribs deleted comment #712 on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel
- 08:56, 28 October 2021 SuperStreetKombat talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Lots of people on the internet, including YouTubers, are already extremely crutical of Qualitipedia with all the rant videos they made of it, so us having a YouTube channel probably wouldn't be a good idea since we could easily cause conflicts with other users there who ranted about us.)
- 22:17, 27 October 2021 King Dice talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (The wikis with less politic views, the better for everyone)
- 19:32, 27 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (At the time you joined, and even (or especially) at the time I joined, the everyday leaders of QP were very invested in the political bias of the wikis. One was an open political supporter and earlier, change only happened because Qualitipedia was getting too much heat, not because there was a sincere desire to drop the politics. Top leadership has changed since then and I think there's a better chance for a fix than ever before. I think you have a reasonable approach, it's more fun to make...)
- 14:35, 27 October 2021 TigerBlazer talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Innovations for Qualitipedia (Depoliticizing has always been what I have wanted to do, but I usually put it off to make pages instead. In fact, the reason I didn't join the wikis earlier back in 2020 (I didn't make an account until 3 months after discovering them) was because of the over-reliance of SJW on pages. I would like to prioritize in this aspect of the plan, given my hate for those kinds of things (I am apolitical). The biggest offenders are the Rotten Websites Wiki (With sites being listed on for pandering to a...)
- 17:46, 26 October 2021 Mr. Jay 641 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Imitation vs. Inspiration (I agree with the comments above, but I ain't too sure about the 3rd one, however I agree that plagiarism isn't a good plan.)
- 17:17, 26 October 2021 Gilimaster69 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Imitation vs. Inspiration (Plagiarism is the worst thing to do when writing)
- 17:16, 26 October 2021 Gilimaster69 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (I have a channel but i dont have any videos)
- 14:37, 26 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (If you make one without approval, it won't be used or officially recognized by QP.)
- 12:25, 26 October 2021 Aidepitilauq talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (I'll just make an account. create a private wiki, share the password with trusted people, and multiple staff members do certain topics, like WatchMojo)
- 02:00, 26 October 2021 Atomicstar talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Also, it is going to take quite a lot of time and work to get enough views and subscribers to earn at least more than if you were to have spent the time working in an entry level part time job. Also, Qualitipedia is not for profit, so there isn't much incentive to giving it more attention (although it could help if more people join as contributors).)
- 23:27, 25 October 2021 SleepParalysisDemon talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (A podcast is a pretty interesting idea, but as you said, some of us are minors (not me), and some are from another country (I'm in the US), so overall, a decent idea, with problems during execution. I'm actually having plans of being a solo YouTuber myself. I'm in my 20s working a full-time job. I finally had enough money to move away, and I spent the month moving, which is why I haven't been very active.)
- 21:29, 25 October 2021 King Dice talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (# Some of us are minors # Some are from other country, or even continent # The schedule is to much Possibly something like a podcast once each week would work)
- 21:21, 25 October 2021 Money12123 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Not interested)
- 20:51, 25 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (There's no reason everyone has to meet in person or that every staffer on QP needs to be involved, but properly organizing people including underage participants would be a problem.)
- 20:50, 25 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Yoni makes excellent points. Also, the few youtubers I do know (including the leader, DarkMatterMan) already have channels and little incentive to warp their time into youtubing a Qualitipedia brand. It is indeed full time work to make a channel that would pay for itself and if you can do that, there's no reason to latch it to QP's rather fragile branding. I am further skeptical that even if we wanted to, we could properly organize the people and the resources. So I wonder if you, the origin...)
- 20:22, 25 October 2021 Marxo Grouch talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (And even then those who are 18 and over have either college or work to attend to, so they likely won't be able to focus full time on a YouTube channel either.)
- 19:39, 25 October 2021 SleepParalysisDemon talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (A decent idea on paper, but there are numerous flaws that fail to make this work. # First off, since this would be a group channel, this requires all the staff memebers, both local and global, to meet up in person, which that to is flawed because ## Not everyone is willing to show their identity to strangers. ## As Yonydesk said, some staff members are under 18, meaning that they have to go to school, and aren't legal adults # Why even bother making a YouTube channel. I'm thinking of starti...)
- 19:29, 25 October 2021 Yonydesk talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (you'll have to be a full-time youtuber then lmao besides most of the active and prominent users here go to school from what i've read and wouldn't have time to be dedicated to this)

- 19:27, 25 October 2021 Yonydesk talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (you'll have to be a full-time youtuber then lmao)
- 18:42, 25 October 2021 Atomicstar talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (A schedule like honestly sounds like too much work unless there are like 5 staff members devoting an hour of work per day on it.)
- 17:44, 25 October 2021 Aidepitilauq talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Explanation?)
- 15:15, 25 October 2021 King Dice talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (I don't think that's the worse idea... but it's really flawed.)
- 14:53, 25 October 2021 Aidepitilauq talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Because you won't have to work a full-time job and besides, it will give Qualitipedia more attention.)
- 14:38, 25 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Should we have a YouTube channel (Firstly, why do we ''need'' it, and what would be the benefits?)
- 09:37, 25 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/Banning pages on real people (Based on the aftermath, it seems not.)
- 19:02, 24 October 2021 GreenGreen talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Regarding the DuchessTheSponge situation: (Well, I don't like beating a dead horse and since he's long gone from these Wikis, I think it's best if we forget about him and move on to other things that are important to these Wikis.)
- 09:54, 24 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Which Qualitipedia wiki category is your favorite? (The Triangle... that's a name I have no intention of letting slide back in if I can help it.)
- 09:53, 24 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Regarding the DuchessTheSponge situation: (The problem runs far deeper than the incident you mention, which is poor enough and grounds for removal even if it was done in good-faith. I agree that the user was probably not malicious, but I don't think 'maliciously incompetent' is a stretch.)
- 01:29, 24 October 2021 Money12123 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Regarding the DuchessTheSponge situation: (I know this blog post is somewhat old, but I would like to mention that I don't even necessarily think DuchessTheSponge's intentions were bad, I just think they decided to close RWW and for some weird reason, when Duchess closes wikis, they demote everyone else (as they did the same thing with the character wikis. Sure, they should've closed it with consensus rather than just immediatel...)
- 01:22, 24 October 2021 Money12123 talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:Which Qualitipedia wiki category is your favorite? (Also, the literature wikis were originally from The Outcast Network, and I'm pretty sure RWW was not part of Qualitipedia until this year. Plus, The Triangle of Opinionated Entertainment is just the old name for Qualitipedia, not a predecessor of the network.)
- 14:10, 23 October 2021 Raidarr talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/Add an abuse filter (Iirc, Mario made most of what we have. If there are reasonable conditions to add then by all means, but I don't see the need for a dedicated proposal or enough material to be actionable anyway.)
- 13:39, 23 October 2021 NJPet talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/Add an abuse filter (Did the admins (either former or current) or stewards made the filters?) Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit Advanced mobile edit
- 12:36, 23 October 2021 DarkMatterMan4500 talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/Add an abuse filter (I have casted my vote as abstain, because we do have a few abuse filters activated, even as we speak.)
- 12:20, 23 October 2021 SleepParalysisDemon talk contribs posted a new comment on Blog:I think we should make positive and negative receptions wikis about years? (I'm late to this, but I kinda like this idea. However, instead of years, how about history events. For example, good ones could be, um… can't think of those right now. Bad ones would be the Holocaust, the coronavirus pandemic, and 9/11.)
- 11:49, 23 October 2021 SleepParalysisDemon talk contribs posted a new comment on Requests for Comment/Permanently banning unconfirmed users from making pages (Dude, 80% of all Wikipedia vandalism comes from anons and non-autoconfirmed users. That's why Wikipedia doesn't allow those types of people to create pages (ever since that incident all the way back in 2005). Allowing new users to create pages is like welcoming vandalism. Of course, users on other wikis that are trusted will be given the confirmed user right. This option is for the best.)
